https://tmjb.unbin.ac.id/index.php/mjb/article/view/87

The MSME sector plays an important role in a country's economy. This research was conducted to analyze the level of E-commerce and E-wallet Adoption by Conventional MSME Actors in Traditional Markets in Yogyakarta City. Another goal is to analyze the reasons for acceptance or rejection of E-commerce and E-wallet adoption. The data used in this study are qualitative. This research uses purposive sampling to determine 15 MSME traders in the Big Three Tradiosonal Markets in Yogyakarta City as sources to be interviewed. The results show that 80% of MSME traders are open to adopting E-wallets and only 20% of traders involve E-commerce in their business. The results also revealed more reasons to accept than reasons to reject the adoption of E-commerce and E-wallet in business. For problems in the field, recommendations are given in the form of familiarizing the use of technology in business, developing services and facilities that are easy to apply and for E-wallet service providers to pay attention to the effectiveness of their services to reduce the waiting time for liquid funds from the Qris payment method.
Michaeln ParandukAstuti Yuli Setyani

https://tmjb.unbin.ac.id/index.php/mjb/article/view/88

This study investigates the influence of work motivation and job satisfaction on employee performance, specifically among nurses at Bengkayang Regional General Hospital (BRGH). As nurses play a critical role in healthcare delivery, understanding the factors that drive their performance is essential. A quantitative research design was employed, with data collected from 77 married nurses using a structured questionnaire. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression through SPSS version 29. The findings reveal that both work motivation and job satisfaction have a positive and significant effect on nurse performance. Nurses with high work motivation demonstrate increased engagement, productivity, and responsibility in fulfilling their duties. Job satisfaction significantly enhances service quality and fosters organizational commitment, which contributes to performance and reduced turnover rates. These results provide empirical support for the theoretical linkage between psychological and organizational factors with employee output in healthcare settings. The study underscores the need for hospital administrators to invest in motivational strategies and satisfaction-enhancing policies. This includes recognition and reward systems, as well as efforts to improve work-life balance, particularly for married nurses who may face additional pressures. Overall, the research highlights the critical role of motivation and satisfaction in optimizing workforce performance.
Dismas Persada Dewangga PramuditaAgatha MayasariJhenny Patricia

https://tmjb.unbin.ac.id/index.php/mjb/article/view/90

Customer loyalty remains a pivotal concern in the pharmaceutical retail sector, particularly in developing regions where competition between independent pharmacies and large chains is intensifying. This study investigates the comparative influence of service quality and advertising on customer loyalty, using a local pharmacy in Trenggalek Regency, Indonesia, as a case study. A quantitative method was employed, involving a structured questionnaire completed by 138 respondents. The data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The results revealed that service quality has a strong and positive influence on customer loyalty, while advertising surprisingly exhibits a significant negative effect. Together, the two variables explained 61.4% of the variance in loyalty, confirming their collective relevance. The findings suggest that while high-quality interpersonal service strengthens customer commitment, misaligned or poorly perceived advertising may undermine it. This study contributes to marketing literature by contextualizing SERVQUAL and Integrated Marketing Communication (IMC) theories within a semi-urban healthcare setting, and highlights the need for service-driven branding strategies in trust-based markets.
Heri SusantoWahyu Dede Gustiawan

This study examines the joint and individual effects of shopping enjoyment and price discount on impulse buying behavior in the context of TikTok Shop, a fast-growing social commerce platform. The research focuses on users in Kediri, Indonesia, a digitally emerging mid-sized city, to address the geographic gap in social commerce literature. The study employs a quantitative survey method with 100 TikTok Shop users selected through purposive sampling. Constructs were measured using validated multi-item scales and analyzed via multiple linear regression. The results show that neither shopping enjoyment nor price discount has a significant effect on impulse buying when tested independently. However, their joint influence is statistically significant (F = 7.167, p = 0.001), explaining 12.6% of the variance in impulse buying. These findings support the argument that consumer impulse behavior is more effectively activated when emotional and transactional stimuli are presented simultaneously. This study contributes to marketing theory by extending the model to a culturally specific social commerce setting and introducing stimulus interaction as a key determinant of impulse buying. It also adds geographic diversity to the literature by highlighting consumer behavior in a non-metropolitan Southeast Asian context.
Vinsensio A. D. MamohWahyu Dede Gustiawan

https://tmjb.unbin.ac.id/index.php/mjb/article/view/94

This study aims to examine the extent to which the utilization of the School Operational Assistance (BOS) Fund in elementary schools fulfills the principles of efficiency, targeted allocation, transparency, and accountability. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed through a literature review, with data analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model, encompassing data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Data were collected from 25 secondary sources, including scholarly journals, government regulations, and school financial reports published within the last five years. The findings reveal that approximately 72.5% of schools manage BOS funds effectively, although challenges persist such as fund disbursement delays (found in 40% of cases), limited managerial capacity (35%), and weak internal control systems (30%). Supporting factors include the implementation of digital reporting systems (60% of schools), active involvement of school committees (55%), and financial management training for fund handlers (45%). Policy implications suggest strengthening participatory and data-driven planning, implementing routine internal audits, enhancing managerial capacity through regular training, and optimizing public transparency in financial reporting. These strategies are expected to improve financial accountability in schools and enhance the overall quality of primary education services.
Teguh Trianung Djoko SusantoNoor Mutiara FathiaRahmah ZainNaila Fadya MuftiMaulidha YashaVernisha Aletha AnindyaIsna Nurfitriana

https://tmjb.unbin.ac.id/index.php/mjb/article/view/96

This study aims to analyze the impact of debt policies, company size, and liquidity on financial performance in household goods retail subsector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange for the 2021–2023 period. A quantitative approach was used using multiple linear regression analysis. The sample consisted of 10 companies selected through purposive sampling. The results of the partial test showed that debt policies, company size, and liquidity did not have a significant effect on financial performance based on the Return on Equity (ROE) indicator. Similarly, simultaneous tests revealed that these three independent variables collectively did not significantly affect financial performance. These findings suggest that, within this subsector, other elements such as operational efficiency levels, updates, or marketing strategy steps can have a greater decisive role in shaping a company's profit performance. As a result, management must consider broader variables to improve financial outcomes and competitiveness in the retail industry
Afwan AdamAris MunandarMukhlis
